This weekend Jeff and I went down to Bellingham to browse some vintage and thrift stores. We’ve done different versions of this day ever since we first met and it’s still one of our favourites! Here’s the day in pictures:

First things first: Breakfast! We hit a sort of pie diner that’s like Dennys but isn’t, called Sharis.

Jeff right before his 1500 calorie breakfast came (yes, they have a calorie count on the menu. At a pie place. I dunno).

Me before my hashbrown and sausage breakfast, because I’m allergic to bread and eggs and mostly all breakfast foods. Oh well.

First stop: Goodwill! They were having their grand re-opening and I got a free reusable bag and entered to win a kobo! Fingers crossed 😉

Me in the dressing room wearing a water-repellent coat from Plum, thrifted scarf, etsy hair bow, gap factory dress, and duo boots with black socks from…somewhere. This outfit was perfect for the day!

This section always tickles me because you need a detective to find anything in there. I do fancy myself a detective from time to time 😉

Our choices at Woods Coffee: Apple fritter and cedar hot chocolate for Jeff, Redwood coffee for me. (there’s no wood in the drinks, those are the sizes. Cute, right?)

Jeff really liked this place, me notsomuch. The books looked cool and made a good picture, but the rest was pretty stuffy I thought. Jeff was all about the car manuals of course, so I had to wait for him for a loooooong time. Now I know how he feels at like, everywhere else with me 😉
So that was our day! Can’t wait to see what Jeff has planned for our big March date. Stay tuned!
