New items in the etsy shop

I’ve been on a winning streak lately with regard to vintage finds, it’s so exciting!  My gracious and beautiful sister-in-law Corine agreed to model some stuff for me, so I get to give my wonderful blog readers a little sneak preview of what I’m going to list in my shop: Trulie Vintage on etsy.com.  Hope you like them!

This black 60s wiggle dress is a beautiful lined wool with velvet flowers on the bodice.

Square neck, knee length, three quarter sleeves = the perfect LBD.

And it goes well with this style coat, which is my next item!

This is an amazing find! Just under knee-length cream sailor coat with navy trim at the collar and wrists. The coat is solidly constructed, 60s does 20s.

How can you resist that collar?!? Just gorgeous.

Sticking with the nautical theme, we have a 60s sweater suit. Corine said this was really comfortable, and as you can see it looks incredibly flattering on her.

Next up: this 60s cape. It's a bit longer than capes made today, which makes it a bit more elegant and functional in my opinion. It's also reversible and has a hood!

This maxi dress is not a new find, but I wanted it modeled for the shop. It's such a fresh, unique piece. Check out the waist bow!

Also an oldie, this dress looks about a million times better in person than it does in pictures. Still, here's a picture of it ;)

Shawl collar, shelf bust, little bow all in cream coloured lace....dreamy!

Two new pieces: a little turquoise summer sweater with a shimmery knife-pleat maxi skirt. The skirt is one of those pieces I would wear with chucks and a tank top as well as heels and a dressier top, all summer long.

So pretty.

So pretty.

And finally, I found this wonderful plaid maxi skirt recently and you know, I can never resist a plaid maxi. Or mini. Or plaid anything, really. This is a really easy piece to throw on with a cream sweater like Corine did here. Don't you just love it?

So there you have it: a sneak preview of what’s to come in my etsy shop!  If you see anything you want to snag before I list it, let me know in the comments below.  Now it’s time to go out to celebrate my Mom’s birthday!  Happy Thursday, everyone 🙂
