Fall is almost here!!! I know, I know: you can’t wait for pumpkin everything. Even if you can, I almost can’t. Every year it’s the same thing for me:I love summer and the relaxed vibe for about a week before I start thinking about autumn and the glorious crispy leaves/campfire smell/warm colours/scarves/ pumpkin lattes/Gilmore Girls back to school feeling takes me over, creating an intense fall-loving ball of crazy called Brianna. And so! I’ve decided to do 5 days of fall trends this week to get you all in the same boat of crazy as me. Five things I’ve chosen to incorporate into my existing fall wardrobe to make it that much dreamier, and each item will be styled for day, evening, and work. First up: the leopard clutch.
Guys, this was hard to find! I searched high and low for the perfect one and found some lovely options on etsy, and a well-priced one on shopsosie (on sale and still available!), but I wanted a mid-priced flat envelope clutch in calf hair (kind of specific, making it difficult), and I finally found it at Indigo (it’s not online, but is in stores for $40) of all places. Seriously!
So this is how I plan to sport my new clutch this fall:
DAY: I have the blazer, the tee, the jeans and the shoes. How perfect is this for a lunch date or creative meeting? Comfy and chic, my two favourite things 🙂
EVENING: I’m pretending the shoes are all black, and then I have all these pieces. This could also work with a white tee and statement necklace, or a fitted sweater when it gets a bit cooler. I love this outfit for a date, a night out with the ladies, a museum outing, a concert…
WORK: I don’t have this dress, yet. I wanted to make a dress this colour last year though, so I have all the fabric, I just chickened out. So now I have to make the dress, strap on some gold bracelets and my watch, and wear this to a networking event. I can do this, I can sew. Maybe.
Tomorrow’s trend: A quilted jacket!
Super cute outfits. LOVE the clutch!
Great outfits! I love leopard! I’m hoping to make a leopard clutch this fall.
That sounds amazing! I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that 🙂
