I follow some other style bloggers, and their posts always look so posh and put-together. They stand in front of picturesque streets, old buildings, or in their perfectly clean homes looking fresh and happy, and I wonder: did you really wear that outfit out? What did you do in it? Because honestly, sometimes I just put on outfits and take pictures for this blog. I don’t always have time in my day to pose in what I’m actually wearing, and Jeff isn’t always around to take the pictures. And let’s be honest here, folks: Some days are yoga pants days. And my hair doesn’t get done, and my outfit doesn’t look put together or picture-worthy ALL DAY some days. So I was thinking it could be cool to take pictures doing real things, like going to the grocery store. Because yes, I do that. Lots. It’s a bit awkward and odd taking pictures while food shopping but hey; the more you do this stuff, the less awkward it is! So last night, I did it. And here’s the proof.

I really wanted some broccolli and cauliflower, because I’m doing the Candida diet now to normalize bacteria in my body. I can eat meat and vegetables. It’s hard. I cheat.

My shopping (and life)partner, the basket-carrying Jeff. He’s such a sport to let me take pictures of him like this, then post them on the internets.

Gratutitous food shot: yogurt, veggies, cheese-filled wieners, wings in a football-shaped container. As you can see, nothing but the best for us!

Straight-on shot of my outfit. I wore this all day, and it was pouring outside. Nothing in this ensemble is water-proof, but I don’t care. I have only been outside to run to or from the car, and the outfit is cozy for when I’m inside. Plus, the colours! Are kidding me? The mustard yellow is the cat’s pajamas!

He’s pretty fun. I didn’t know it then, but this is where he subtly slipped a package of buttertarts into the basket. Tricky guy!

Love it, you are so right most other bloggers photos look a bit staged. But funny observation, even your grocery store pictures have no people in them so they look a little staged. Lol
Funny! It was hard getting pics with no people in them, we had to be fast.
