I wasn’t sure what to title this, but when I look at the outfit, that’s what comes to mind: business nautical.  This morning I attended my first networking meeting in a loooong time.  I was super nervous, right up until I walked into the room and realized that this is my scene.  THESE are my people.  It was a morning spent in the company of like-minded men and women looking to grow their businesses and meet new friends.  I met some great ladies, and had a lovely time 🙂

I wore a summer dress of mine because holy moly, it’s still pretty hot out!  To business it up though, I put on a navy blazer with 3/4 sleeves.  The jacket is part of a suit I have, and wearing it reminded me about the pants, which I should wear soon because they’re cute and ankle length and I love them.

In the afternoon I switched the blazer out with my jean jacket because: casual.  And I went to Starbucks with my Mom so we could work online, since the power went out at home.  Quality time, you know?  With pumpkin sauce.
