Blank Canvas

There is something so enticing about wearing an outfit that can be styled a gazillion different ways.  Yesterday after my workout, I was tired but nowhere near done what I had to do, so I dressed as comfortably (and coolly) as I could in a white t-shirt and stretchy blue skirt with my new little kitten heels from Zara.

YUM.  This outfit made me feel really good!  I stood/sat in a waiting room to get a blood test for an hour and was still totally comfortable.  I’m into fertility testing now to get this baby making going, so we’ll see what the results tell us.  I’m hoping I’ll just get pregnant naturally while we’re doing this, but since it’s been 3 years of trying I’m not going to hold my breath.  And so!  We test.

On another note, only a style blogger knows how awkward it was taking these pictures.  I live by the beach, but you’d never know it by my so-unbeachy snaps.  I decided today was the day to take the tripod out somewhere to get a picturesque background.  I tried a park close by, but some questionable dudes were playing Frisbee there, so I found this pathway down to the beach and pointed the camera.  The results were actually not bad, and only one lady walked by and looked at me weird: success!

Later, because I just had to mix it up, I went grocery (ok, and H&M) shopping in nude wedges, an army vest instead of the necklace, and my hair up with big silver earings.  I loved that version too!
