This past weekend, while it was aggressively hot out, my beautiful and gracious friend Elizabeth came to my house to model some frocks so that I could put them in my etsy shop. In return, I gave her lemon pop and Nanaimo bars. Sounds gross, right? Well together they probably are. The choices for photo backdrops around my house include a construction site, a hot tub surrounded by blow-up toys and shovels, a driveway with an AMC Gremlin in it (Smurf Blue if you want to know), a house with a parrot named Picasso who likes to sit on the power lines and is molting so right now he looks like a plucked chicken, or a hermit across the street who gets his yard maintained professionally. Picasso’s house was tempting, but we ended up going with the hermit yard, and he peeked out the window at Liz posing for awhile: probably because the dresses were so pretty or something 😉

This dress is very springy, and to me looks like a baby or wedding shower. Or something you wear to the Medi-clinic to make all the other people in the waiting room jealous.

This is one from my private collection, doesn’t that sound so posh? Now say it with an accent: MY PRY-VATE CO-LLEC-SHION.

This is a cool 90s does 50s dress, perfect for ordering the pool boy around in and holding one of those long cigarettes.
Today is the LAST DAY for entering the Fall Giveaway, so get your entries in now!!!!!! Draw is tomorrow 🙂
