Maroon goes with teal, right?

UHH, YEAH.  In case you didn’t catch it, that question was SO RHETORICAL.  Maroon and teal (and hunter green, grey-green and mint green) go so well together that I get just giddy thinking about it, nevermind wearing it.  So.  Much.  Joy.

So yesterday Jeff and I went for coffee (he sat in a kind of fancy/ooh-la-la coffee place and really tried to act like he belonged, God bless ‘im 🙂 Then we went to check out a teal 60s style couch that I spied on UB’s website last night.  Alas, it was not there, so we’ll have to wait a month or two to find out if our tushies are pleased by it.  We need a new couch though, because did I tell you I gave ours away?  Maybe I never published that blog….we had talked about it for awhile because our couch was this big brown leather deal that I used to use for home staging (my business a few lifetimes ago) and never really liked, but it worked well enough so we just kept it.  And sat on it, like a lot.  I did my school work on it when I was finishing my degree, Jeff spent his unemployed time on it (when he wasn’t in the garage) watching hours and hours of Top Gear on Netflix.  I ended up getting a bulging disc in my back (it hurts, don’t try it), and he got a different back affliction that caused him a lot of pain for almost a year.  We figured the couch was to blame, at least partly.  So last summer I hired a personal trainer and gave the couch to the Salvation Army Thrift store thinking it would solve all my problems.  We use these two chairs we had (brown velvet, also from the staging company) to watch tv, and I moved my little desk into the living room to be where the action is.  So anyway now we still have back troubles if we don’t stretch and work out regularly (turns out we’re just old now), PLUS we need a couch.  I don’t think it was bad move giving it away, maybe just premature.  But then, that’s me right?  I don’t know what that last bit means, just pretend I’m clever and laugh bit………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Thanks, you’re a peach 😉
