Spring is a great time to inject some happy, light and whimsical pieces into your wardobe.  Let’s start with shoes!  Here are some of my top picks from my favourite stores:

1) BC footwear floral pump available on Modcloth.com for $70

These aren’t a mousy, unassuming floral, but a bold, sexy floral which I like much better.  The block heel, pointy toe and size of the flowers gives them an edge.

Wear these with a subtly patterned skirt and t-shirt, or make a pant, shorts or skirt suit more springy:

2) Pastel Sneakers from Anthropologie for $80

These are ultra feminine and can be worn with so much more than yoga pants.  See the rounded edges and swoopy stripes?  They really emphasize what’s so great about the female form, and so I love them.

Wear these with skinny ankle jeans or make a pencil skirt sporty.  Or go really Spring and wear them with white jeans!

3) Big Easy Wedge sandal from nine west for $120

These cork wedges come out every year in various incarnations, but I really love these ones because of the vibrant green and simple styling, and the heel is not ridiculously high so you can actually walk.  These really pop, and aren’t fussy so you can wear them until forever and ever.

Wear these with boyfriend jeans, shorts, or any kind of skirt (full, pencil, a-line) for a relaxed, teensy bit edgy vibe.
