Early Spring Favourites

OH MY GOSH IT’S SPRING!!!!!!!!!  I am beyond excited, as I am every year, that the flowers are blooming, the days are getting longer and warmth is here!  We’ve had a beautiful spring so far, and I’ve been spending the time at the park, eating out, and chilling with my husband punctuated by cleaning and organizing our little basement suite.  I’ve taken a (nother) break from the blog to just BE, and it’s been really nice!  I love blogging, but I’m finding more and more that I also love being low-key, dressing for myself and not worrying about my online presence.  I’m noticing this theme from a lot of the bloggers I follow as well…I guess there’s a certain amount of pressure that goes along with blogging.  Anyway, I think a mix of both is perfect for me; I just have to get the ratios right.

Here are some things that I’m loving right now:

This gorgeous clutch I just listed in my etsy shop. I have seriously never seen anything like it, it's amazing!

I picked this shelf up on the side of the road. Yes, I do that often. This is how it was.

And this is how it is now! I painted it mint green and am now using it for all my crafty bits and etsy pieces. I love it!

I love these pink vintage gloves, and they're perfect on display. The "clothesline" is made from pink string and tacks, and I've hung some glasses for sale on them. In the background are my brochures and cards.

A picture of my hubby in the back, and a valentine I gave him this year hung on the line next to some sweater clips and bows. The silver tray holds jewelry for sale.

These floral boxes from Target hold cards, tissue paper and ribbons. The photo frame is the ugly free gift we got from my brother and his wife last Christmas: it's our new tradition! I have to put picture in there...

My new red bag from Burlington coat factory just outside of Portland, and these pointy-toes polk-a-dot slingback flats I thrifted not too long ago. The bright crispiness of these two make me happy!
